Prepare customer orders through picking, packaging, and staging at Ryerson’s Richmond, BC branch on a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
This Material Handler position focuses on moving industrial metal products through warehouse shipping and receiving activities. You will break down bulk bundles, package material to customer requirements, and confirm work orders in SAP. Forklift operation, paperwork accuracy, basic math, measuring, and computer skills support the daily work. The scheduled hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stage feedstock for fulfillment orders
- Pick materials for customer shipments
- Break down bulk bundles for specific orders
- Package products according to customer requirements
- Confirm shipping and receiving work orders in SAP
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of similar experience preferred
- Minimum one year of forklift experience preferred
- Ability to complete required paperwork accurately
- Basic math and measuring abilities
- Comfort using a computer
