Keep Royal Mail’s fleet moving from the Peterborough Workshop through vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across commercial equipment.

This permanent Vehicle Technician position offers full-time workshop work with one of the UK’s largest fleet operators. You’ll service a wide range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment, including light and heavy goods vehicles. The schedule follows a rotating shift pattern with occasional Saturday work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect a range of vehicles and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose faults across workshop vehicle systems
- Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Repair light and heavy goods vehicles
- Operate specialist and shared workshop tooling

Requirements:

- Level 3 light or heavy vehicle qualification
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician on wide-ranging vehicles
- Full manual UK driving licence
- HGV licence with trailer experience preferred
- Ability to support flexible service demands
