Help MaintainX earn visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews through GEO experiments and content optimization. This Demand Generation role supports a growing search pipeline.
You will turn SEO and GEO strategy into published work, helping priority pages recover rankings and strengthen AI citations. The role includes content refreshes, gap pieces, backlink review, technical SEO support, and keyword research. You will also explain changes to partners who do not own SEO, while learning tools and processes from the Senior SEO/GEO Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize priority pages through refreshes and gap content
- Track opportunities affecting rankings, traffic, and AI citations
- Evaluate backlink and offsite citation prospects
- Explain SEO changes and translate requests into next steps
- Run visibility experiments and document what you learn
Requirements:
- One to two years in SEO or a strong internship
- Keyword research and rank tracking using Semrush or Ahrefs
- Explicit understanding of LLM search behavior and citations
- Tests contributed to or independently run, including GEO side projects
- Ability to manage projects and follow through independently
