This Estimator position focuses on understanding construction criteria and preparing complete bid documentation. You will work with estimators, bid coordinators, managers, subcontractors, owners, clients, engineers, and architects. The position requires at least five years of estimating experience in general contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review preliminary, contract, and shop drawings
- Analyze specifications, safety, and quality programs
- Prepare estimates, backup, taxes, and bid documents
- Coordinate subcontractor, owner, and client relationships
- Participate in project handoffs before construction starts
Requirements:
- Minimum five years estimating in general contracting
- Construction management, engineering, or architecture degree preferred
- Multi-residential project estimating experience is an asset
- Robust organizational and time management abilities
