ECM is seeking a Maintenance Labourer for a long-term hard-rock open-pit mining project in Newfoundland and Labrador. You will assist with equipment servicing, preventative maintenance, tools, parts, and maintenance materials. The work supports daily operations around large mobile and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with equipment servicing and preventative maintenance
- Fuel equipment, lubricate components, and check fluid levels
- Stage tools, parts, and maintenance materials
- Perform general labour duties for daily operations
- Follow established safety procedures around heavy equipment
Requirements:
- Previous Heavy Duty Mechanics support experience considered an asset
- Familiarity with basic heavy equipment components considered an asset
- Dependable approach and effective maintenance team participation
- Strong commitment to safety and protected work practices
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
