This full-time Accounting Specialist supports accounts payable and receivable while assisting the Finance Manager. The position includes bookkeeping, account analysis, reconciliations, invoice processing, and coordination with university campuses. It also supports financial training and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, interpret, and combine accounting data from multiple sources
- Organize invoices and enter financial information accurately
- Prepare MOU invoices for participating institutions
- Manage invoice collection and payment deadlines
- Assist Finance training and update Salesforce records
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of bookkeeping or equivalent accounting experience
- Accounting designation, degree, diploma, or equivalent background
- Strong accounting and data-entry knowledge
- Resourceful, independent, and effective problem-solving approach
- Experience with Sage, ExpensePoint, or Salesforce is an asset
