Shape Grade 3 learning through inquiry, differentiation, and compassionate communication at St. Margaret’s School’s Victoria campus. This temporary assignment is 1.0 FTE.

The successful teacher will support the Primary Years Programme within a girl-centered independent school. You will foster belonging, student growth, and culturally inclusive routines while connecting learning through interdisciplinary planning. Strong assessment practices and collaboration with parents and colleagues are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create motivating curriculum for Primary Years students
- Foster cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Establish versatile, inclusive classroom routines
- Communicate regularly with parents through newsletters
- Attend required meetings and school events

Requirements:

- Current British Columbia teacher certification
- Bachelor of Education with Primary Years focus
- IB Primary Years Programme teaching experience
- Knowledge of formative and summative assessment strategies
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
