Lead detailed event planning for Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre, using client communication, BEO management, and group coordination expertise.

This is not an entry-level event position; it requires direct experience managing hotel groups and events. As the primary planning contact, you will translate contracted requirements into coordinated delivery across Sales, Front Office, Housekeeping, Culinary, Banquets, and Operations. The work spans meetings, conferences, weddings, incentive groups, sports teams, tour groups, and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Document event requirements through consultations and planning conversations
- Maintain BEOs, Group Resumes, Rooming Lists, and related records
- Manage room blocks with Revenue Management, Front Office, and Sales




- Communicate changes and updates to hotel stakeholders promptly
- Review billing instructions, event charges, and final invoices

Requirements:

- Conference, event, catering sales, or group coordination experience
- Direct hotel, resort, conference centre, or convention experience
- Ability to manage multiple groups and competing deadlines independently
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with hotel or event systems is preferred
