Help older adults retain function and live safely in their communities through occupational therapy at Sunnybrook’s Peter Cipriano Centre. Collaborate across outpatient senior care services.

This Occupational Therapist supports the Geriatric Day Program, Geriatric Medicine and Specialized Clinic, and Geriatric Outreach Services. Responsibilities include assessing occupational performance, addressing activities of daily living, cognition, mobility, psychosocial needs, and home safety. You will also provide group therapy, education, family collaboration, and evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop care plans addressing occupational performance issues
- Support seniors’ community living skills and psychosocial needs
- Facilitate group therapy, education, and fall prevention classes




- Connect seniors with community supports and resources
- Provide occupational therapy expertise to staff and providers

Requirements:

- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Membership in CAOT and/or OSOT
- Working knowledge of community resources and seniors programs
- Knowledge of mobility equipment, aides, and vendor collaboration
- Experience providing virtual care services
