Support residents at La Fontana Care Home in Martock as a shift-leading Registered Nurse with clinical decision-making and care planning skills.

This Registered Nurse contract provides specialist dementia and nursing care for up to 76 residents. You will deliver person-centred practice, uphold standards, and make informed decisions throughout your shift. Responsibilities include assessing needs, reviewing care plans, administering medication, monitoring health, and guiding the care team. You will work with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to maintain continuity and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead shifts while supporting and guiding the care team
- Make informed clinical decisions during changing needs




- Develop and review residents’ care plans
- Administer medication and monitor physical and mental health
- Maintain consistent, protected, and effective care standards

Requirements:

- Active NMC PIN as a Registered Nurse RGN or RMN
- Confidence leading shifts in a care setting
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making ability
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Alternate weekend availability required
