Direct multi-property maintenance operations with strong asset management, compliance, and vendor leadership skills. This mobile role may be based in Waterloo or Ottawa.

The Facility Manager safeguards physical condition, safety, and reliability across assigned properties. You will coordinate maintenance execution, inspections, work orders, budgets, contractors, and compliance documentation. The role partners with General Managers, Leasing, Facilities, Operations, and Capital Projects teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections and document risks and corrective actions
- Ensure work orders are assigned, tracked, completed, and auditable
- Monitor workload, response times, and execution quality
- Review vendor work against approved scope and quality standards




- Support capital projects with scopes, estimates, and technical input

Requirements:

- Five to eight years of progressive facilities or maintenance management
- Experience in student housing, multi-residential, hospitality, or real estate
- Understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Solid planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel between properties

Use property management systems, vendor oversight, and asset condition expertise to strengthen maintenance delivery and capital planning.
