Northern Health seeks a motivated nurse to provide psychiatric nursing care within a patient and family centered model. You will practice according to BCCNM standards while coordinating services, supporting health promotion, and providing direct care. The position includes collaboration, clinical leadership, and possible Electroconvulsive Therapy nursing services as applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess mental health and substance use clients
- Deliver prescribed therapeutic, safety, and technical interventions
- Facilitate counselling and patient education activities




- Set priorities and assign support staff tasks
- Provide care surrounding Electroconvulsive Therapy treatment

Requirements:

- Hold BCCNM registration as a practicing nurse
- Complete an approved nursing education program
- Have two years of related mental health experience
- Know mental health legislation, policies, and procedures
- Operate related equipment and computer applications
