Detection engineering and SOC platform expertise anchor this Senior Security Advisor position with Intact Insurance. Strengthen threat detection through scalable security solutions, log management, and platform maintenance in a hybrid work model.
This experienced advisor supports Intact Insurance’s cyber defence team and its Detection Engineering function. The work spans security monitoring, threat analysis, and core SOC tooling. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams while managing priorities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen Detection Engineering within the cyber defence team
- Support SOC log ingestion, normalization, and filtering
- Troubleshoot security platforms and maintain operational capabilities
- Manage Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Purview,
and Agentic Internal
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams
Requirements:
- Four to six years in cybersecurity, DevOps, or infrastructure
- Security monitoring experience with SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIP, or UEBA
- Knowledge of threat actors and common attack techniques
- Detection engineering, rule writing, MITRE ATT&CK; knowledge is an asset
- Solid French and English oral and written communication
