Support Government of Nunavut service delivery as a Facility Maintainer focused on facility integrity, built environments, and technical systems. Work in Cambridge Bay.

This indeterminate position reports to the Settlement Maintenance Supervisor within Transportation and Infrastructure Nunavut. You will help protect facilities serving government departments, agencies, and Nunavummiut. Your work addresses issues before they create hazards, discomfort, costly repairs, or service interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the integrity of facilities and built environments
- Maintain systems supporting government facilities and services
- Identify issues that could affect safety or service
- Take preventative measures to reduce costly repairs
- Consider total life cycle cost when executing work

Requirements:

- Currently eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to contribute as a technical expert
- Ability to prioritize work within resource limitations
- Focus on minimizing interruptions to services
- Emphasis on team effectiveness and quality
