This 15-month contract leads health, safety, and security initiatives within McCain Foods’ manufacturing facility. As a visible Leadership Team member, you will influence employees and leaders, support operational excellence, and maintain compliance with applicable requirements. The role also guides the site Safety Coordinator and partners with engineering, maintenance, quality, operations, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Champion caring behaviors and personal safety accountability
- Lead behavior-based safety initiatives and cultural assessments
- Use leading and lagging indicators to improve performance




- Collaborate on protected products, projects, and processes
- Support Workers’ Compensation and return-to-work practices

Requirements:

- Minimum seven years in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation requirements
- Behavior-based safety and continuous improvement knowledge
- Experience with safety metrics and problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HR systems
