Lead aeroelasticity analysis for Bombardier aircraft using MSC Nastran and finite element models. Flexible and hybrid work policies apply when applicable.
As a Professional Senior Engineer, you will support aircraft design studies and in-service airworthiness within Loads and Dynamics. Your expertise will connect unsteady aerodynamics, structures, weight, inertia, and frequency-based data analysis. You will also contribute to testing and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic aircraft behavior
- Maintain finite element models supporting aeroelastic analysis
- Support computational aeroelasticity research and development
- Coordinate with Advanced Design, Mass Properties, and Control Laws
- Support flutter, vibration, wind tunnel,
and certification activities
Requirements:
- At least nine years of aerospace industry dynamics analysis experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with MSC Nastran dynamic and aeroelastic analysis
- Experience analyzing frequency-based data and aeroelastic FEM
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
Use advanced aeroelasticity, testing, and data analysis capabilities to support Bombardier Aerospace aircraft engineering programs.
