Build and repair overhead and underground powerlines with Forbes Bros. as a Journeyman Powerline Technician. Initially work on-site in Yorkton or Prince Albert.

Forbes Bros. Group of Companies needs an experienced powerline technician for distribution construction and maintenance. This full time role may be permanent or temporary, with Monday-to-Friday scheduling, frequent overtime, and weekend work as projects require. Regional crews may transition between projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot overhead and underground lines and electrical components
- Complete distribution installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance
- Operate equipment for conductor stringing, cable pulling, and tensioning
- Complete work to drawings, specifications, and client requirements




- Prepare work areas for inspections and client walkdowns

Requirements:

- Red Seal powerline trade certification or equivalent industry experience
- Strong knowledge of distribution construction and maintenance procedures
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence; Class 1A is preferred
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
- Clear communication skills with crews and stakeholders
