Description Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support OC Transpo’s Event Fare Integration Program. The resource will engage partner organizations and manage their integration with OC Transpo’s Barcode API, which allows third parties to request QR codes for customers to access transit fare gates.

Location:
1500 St-Laurent Boulevard, Ottawa, and/or remotely as approved by the Project Authority/Manager Expected start: December 1, 2026 Duration: 12 months from contract award, with two optional one-year extensions Workload: Part time, up to 1,200 hours during the initial term Responsibilities
- Engage partner organizations to develop the capability to integrate with OC Transpo’s Barcode API.
- Guide partners through the technical integration requirements.
- Provide project management, planning, coordination and consultation for OC Transpo.
- Work with City Legal Services and external counsel to develop an appropriate legal structure for integration agreements acceptable to the City.
- Ensure financial reporting and billing processes are established with partner organizations.
- Provide timely project communications to OC Transpo stakeholders.
- Support field trials and pilot activities, including delivery plans, stakeholder coordination, access to sites and vehicles, validation feedback, communications,



and operational and customer readiness.
- Engage potential third-party partners to expand transit integration with ticketed events in Ottawa. Deliverables
- Project plan and progress reports at least every two weeks.
- Stakeholder engagement materials, such as an introductory presentation and onboarding guide.
- A generic agreement ready for signature by third-party API users. Rated Experience And Qualifications
- 10 years of experience related to implementing complex technology infrastructures.
- 2 years of experience managing the implementation of a new technology solution.
- Experience working with payment or ticketing systems.
- Experience developing applications using an Application Programming Interface (API).
- Bachelor of Computer Information Systems, Bachelor of Administration/Commerce, or equivalent.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- French and English bilingualism is an asset; reading and writing proficiency will be evaluated. Project Experience Candidates should provide three relevant projects of similar scope and magnitude successfully undertaken within the previous five years. Each example should identify the project, client, dates, responsibilities, complexity and client reference contact information. ,
