Responsibilities
- Ensuring a loving, safe, healthy and nurturing environment for both children
- Manage daily schedule (naps/feeding routines and developmental stages)

Communication

- Comfortable with adjusting routines or responsibilities as children’s needs evolve
- Confident taking initiative in planning age‑appropriate activities independently
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 2 years of professional nannying or childcare experience
- Experience with nanny shares, multiples, or similar-aged children is an asset
- At least 2 child-care related references
- Infant/child CPR & First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Non‑smoker
- Reliable and punctual
- Solid initiative: willing to plan activities, notices routines, anticipates needs
- Ability to remain calm, patient and emotionally regulated during crying or feeding transitions, busy moments, or off days
- Safe‑sleep knowledge
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred; access to a personal vehicle is not required.
- Must be comfortable with pets. One of our families has a friendly small 2‑year‑old dog. He is usually in doggy daycare during nanny shifts, but occasional care or walking may be needed if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Employee is responsible for transportation to and from the working locations
Our families are kind, laid‑back, respectful, and supportive, and we’ve been close friends for over 10 years. We’re now raising our children alongside one another so it’s especially meaningful to us to create a warm, collaborative environment for our little ones. We’re hoping to build a positive, long‑term relationship with the right nanny — someone who takes pride in infant care and truly enjoys supporting children through their earliest stages of development.
