Our client seeks a highly experienced Senior Instrumentation Technician for mining operations. You will install, maintain, repair, and calibrate sensors, transmitters, control valves, and analytical devices. The position also covers PLC, DCS, and SCADA checks, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate industrial instrumentation across mining plants
- Diagnose faults and identify root causes
- Maintain sensors, transmitters, valves, and analytical devices
- Perform preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected failures
- Record calibration, maintenance, and repair activities
Requirements:
- Instrumentation Technician Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Minimum five years’ instrumentation technician experience
- Significant mining or heavy industrial experience
- Familiarity with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems
- Willingness to work shifts and challenging site conditions
