Prairie Mountain Health seeks an activity/recreation worker for Long Term Care in Birtle. The position develops client-focused programs with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Duties include group activities, individual activities, documentation, and communicating progress with the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement recreation programs for clients
- Organize group activities and provide selected-task instruction
- Develop activities based on client interests and needs
- Maintain calendars, records, statistics, and monthly reports
- Follow restrictions and maintain equipment safely

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education meeting Manitoba standards
- Two years recent relevant client experience
- Experience with elderly or disabled individuals
- Class 5 Manitoba driver’s licence
- Food Handler Training Level 1 certificate or willingness to obtain
