Drive customer orders safely for Spicers in Winnipeg, using defensive driving and careful route preparation. This full-time position reports to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.
The Driver delivers commercial print, packaging, facility, and specialty products to customer businesses. Responsibilities include checking staged stock, loading route-sequenced trucks, completing manifests, and obtaining delivery signatures. The role also handles returns, COD collection, and protected product movement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble invoices according to delivery route sequence
- Verify staged stock against customer charge sheets
- Load trucks and complete vehicle safety checks
- Deliver orders safely and obtain customer signatures
- Process returns, COD collections, and delivery records
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 or Class 3 driver’s licence
- Defensive driving course completion
- Truck driving experience, preferably with air brakes
- Forklift, WHMIS, and T.G.D. certifications
