Miller Waste Systems needs a Truck and Transport Technician reporting to the Equipment Manager. You will repair waste collection vehicles, maintain fleet reliability, and support protected operations. The work includes diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and preventive maintenance expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose complex modern diesel engines and advanced vehicle systems
- Repair waste collection trucks, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Mentor apprentice technicians during apprenticeship training




- Maintain organized shop areas and surrounding grounds

Requirements:

- Valid Journeyperson Certificate or enrollment in Truck and Transport Technician school
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Ability to perform MVI inspections and understand transportation regulations
- Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems
- Own tools and willingness to acquire additional tools
