Provide personal patient care at Georgian Bay General Hospital using practical nursing expertise in Surgical Day Care and Endoscopy. This is a part-time opportunity.

The Registered Practical Nurse supports patients with secure conditions and predictable outcomes. Within scope, you will assess and provide supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care. The position requires Surgical Day Care experience, BCLS certification, and rotating through Surgical Day Care and Endoscopy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Promote health within the patient care team
- Assess patients with stable conditions and predictable outcomes

- Help attain or maintain optimal patient function

Requirements:

- Graduate of a recognized Registered Practical Nursing Program
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum one year Surgical Day Care experience
- Effective English communication with patients and healthcare staff
