Deliver packages safely and courteously for FedEx Canada while operating an assigned route and computerized dispatch systems. This temporary position lasts up to 12 weeks.
As a Driver, you will provide efficient pickup and delivery services while supporting related customer service functions. You will inspect shipments, plan routes, secure property, and answer questions about FedEx Canada services. No experience is required, while one year of customer service experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up packages safely and efficiently
- Inspect shipments and report stop counts and missorts
- Load vans and plan efficient delivery routes
- Operate tracking and dispatch systems accurately
- Explain service features and shipping requirements to customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No prior experience required for this position
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Valid required driver’s licence with acceptable driving record
- Successful interview and required driving evaluations
Support FedEx Canada customers through protected driving, accurate package handling, route planning, and professional service on assigned routes.
