Support patients at home with daily living assistance across Fort Frances, Emo, and Devlin, Ontario, using compassion and reliability. ParaMed seeks a Personal Support Worker for its home and community care team.
This full time position supports patient independence in homes and community settings. You will assist with personal care, prepare meals, complete basic housekeeping, and provide companionship. A valid Personal Support Worker Certificate, driver license, vehicle access, and Vulnerable Sector Screen are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with skin, hair, oral, bathing, toileting, and peri-care
- Support activities of daily living in patient homes
- Prepare nutritious meals, snacks, and special diets
- Complete basic housekeeping tasks for patients
- Provide companionship supporting patients’ quality of life
Requirements:
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Compassionate care when interacting with patients
- Reliability and flexibility
- Valid driver license and access to a vehicle
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen
