Teach engineering communication with assessment skills as a Teaching Assistant for ENG 2040 A02 at the University of Manitoba. The appointment runs January 7 through April 19, 2027.

This student teaching support position is based in the Price Faculty of Engineering’s Department of Engineering Education. You will prepare instructional materials, present in tutorials or seminars, mark student work, and consult with students. Successful completion of ENG 2040 is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend orientation, planning, and coordinating meetings
- Prepare handouts, assignments, tests, and examination materials
- Present instructional materials in tutorials, laboratories, or seminars
- Mark tutorial, laboratory, seminar, and course work
- Maintain scheduled student consultation times

Requirements:

- Expertise appropriate to assisting with assigned course instruction
- Empathetic approach to student instructional needs
- Effective English language skills
- Demonstrated competence using computers
- Availability for all appointment dates and class times
