Lead cybersecurity monitoring and incident response for BDO Canada, using threat detection and investigation expertise within a blended work model.
As a senior Information Security Specialist, you will support operational security across BDO’s enterprise. Your work protects systems, data, and digital assets through security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response. You will also help continuously improve security capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and investigate cybersecurity alerts, events, and incidents
- Coordinate containment, remediation, root cause analysis, and reviews
- Administer and optimize enterprise security technologies
- Analyze threats and vulnerabilities to identify security risks
- Maintain response playbooks and operational security procedures
Requirements:
- Five or more years of progressive cybersecurity experience
- Knowledge of incident response and threat detection methodologies
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and response technologies
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Degree or equivalent education and experience in a related field
