Ce Poste Relève De Global Supply Chain Manager, BL Analytical ABB's Analytical business line is looking for a Global Category Manager to own the mechanical category — covering mechanical components, castings, forgings, and plastics — and shape its global direction. This is a senior individual contributor role with real ownership. You will consolidate the global strategy and supply base together with our factories, working across local, regional, and global teams to build a resilient, cost‑optimized supply chain. The category is at a critical moment: tariffs and global market shifts are impacting cost and availability, and we need someone who can step in, build the plan, and deliver it. Develop and implement the global strategy for the mechanical category for the Analytical Business Line, including supplier footprint, risk mitigation, and cost optimization Lead sourcing strategies using the CIPS process, ensuring the supply base has the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements Negotiate agreements with key suppliers, renew price lists, and manage terms and conditions Manage procurement planning, budgets, savings forecasts, and cost-out programs to reach financial targets Identify, investigate,



and select suppliers with focus on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability Provide ongoing contract management and oversight with suppliers Ensure all relevant parties understand and execute the strategy, and that category sourcing performance targets are achieved To be successful in this role, you bring proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management, ideally within mechanical components, castings, forgings, or plastics. You have a track record of building global strategies and, just as importantly, executing them — turning plans into tangible results on the ground. You bring solid stakeholder management skills, able to align factories, local teams, and global leadership around a common direction, and you have solid negotiation and supplier relationship management experience. You bring a data‑driven mindset to analysis and reporting, and you approach your work with a collaborative, humble spirit that fits our culture. While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $119,000 and $221,000 annually and is eligible for a annual bonus.
