As Principal Geotechnical Engineer specializing in dams, you will act as a Qualified Professional for WSP’s BC and Yukon dams practice. You will guide national teams, shape technical strategy, and deliver projects supporting resilient communities. The work requires dam safety knowledge, geotechnical analysis, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as Qualified Skilled for BC and Yukon dams
- Lead dam safety reviews, inspections, and modifications
- Prepare geotechnical studies and engineering reports
- Oversee investigations, procurement, contractors,



and project execution
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships

Requirements:

- Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
- P.Eng. registration with EGBC or eligibility
- 15+ years geotechnical or geomechanics engineering experience
- Strong focus on dams and dam safety
- Knowledge of BC regulations and CDA Guidelines
