Support Rooms Operations at The Westin Ottawa, using guest services and supervisory skills in a full-time, in office management position.
This entry-level management position supports daily Rooms Operations across Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS, and Concierge/Guest Services. You will help direct employees, maintain cleanliness standards, and support guest arrival and departure procedures. The position also contributes to guest and employee satisfaction and operating budget goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close Front Desk and Housekeeping shifts
- Review room operations reports and night audit information
- Temporarily supervise Rooms Operations areas when needed
- Support same-day selling and room rate accuracy
- Train staff and oversee policy compliance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with four years’ related experience
- Or two-year hospitality degree with two years’ related experience
- Guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to understand departmental equipment and procedures
