Turn architectural concepts into production-ready drawings using AutoCAD and 3D CAD for custom millwork and fabrication projects.

This CAD Detailer develops shop drawings for custom manufacturing, retail fixtures, cabinetry, and specialty fabrication. The work requires architectural drawing interpretation, material knowledge, and practical fabrication awareness. You will collaborate with project managers, designers, estimators, CNC operators, and production teams to deliver accurate solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Translate concepts, sketches, and specifications into fabrication-ready drawings
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, and assembly details
- Determine materials, dimensions, hardware, joinery, and construction methods




- Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and production efficiency

Requirements:

- Two to three years of relevant CAD detailing experience
- Robust AutoCAD proficiency; SolidWorks experience is an asset
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
- Working knowledge of millwork, cabinetry, hardware, and fabrication methods
- Post-secondary drafting education or equivalent industry experience
