Children’s Village of Ottawa-Carleton seeks a Program Assistant supporting RECEs in a group setting. You will contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating emergent curriculum aligned with ELECT and How Does Learning Happen? The work supports children’s learning, development, belonging, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support RECEs with inclusive play-based program planning
- Assist emergent curriculum implementation, observation, and documentation
- Supervise children and support safety procedures and ratios
- Build responsive relationships with children and families
- Guide behaviour and support self-regulation and social skills

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Early Childhood Assistant Diploma preferred
- Experience in licensed childcare with relevant age groups
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Standard First Aid, CPR C, and Police Vulnerable Sector Check
