Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Property Accountant prepares meaningful financial information supporting QuadReal’s operating requirements. The position covers financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, property revenues, expenditures, leases, recoveries, budgets, and reforecasts. It also requires communication about material issues and collaboration with internal departments, clients, auditors, and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce monthly and quarterly property financial statements
- Analyze NOI, CAPEX, balance sheets, and material variances
- Review leases and maintain accurate accounting-related setups




- Calculate Yardi recovery billings, adjustments, and estimates
- Prepare budgets, reforecasts, audits, and tenant billings

Requirements:

- Qualified or enrolled CPA designation, or relevant experience
- At least two years of commercial property accounting experience
- Retail property accounting experience considered an asset
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Effective communication, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities
