Inspect municipal watermain and sewer projects across the Greater Toronto Region using construction observation, documentation, and quality oversight skills. This full time field role includes travel.

Stantec seeks a Construction Inspector for medium to large linear conveyance projects. You will apply technical skills, independent judgment, and critical decision-making while representing the Construction Manager onsite. The work requires understanding contract documents, project parties, public municipal construction, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and document contractor construction activities daily
- Prepare comprehensive reports with quantities, resources, photos, and video
- Communicate conformance issues to contractors
- Review submittals, RFIs, and quality control plans




- Maintain as-built records and project punch lists

Requirements:

- Technical construction degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years supporting municipal linear water and wastewater projects
- Ability to interpret contract documents and work package plans
- Ability to discuss project issues with clients and contractors
- Trenchless, P.Eng., CET, NASSCO, or CAD experience is an asset
