Bring early learning expertise to Family Day as a Mobile RECE supporting children across York Region childcare centres. Apply HighScope® and Hanen programs.

This contract full time position serves children aged 0 to 12 in group settings. Reporting to the Centre Supervisor, the RECE supports development under Ontario requirements and Family Day policies. The work includes curriculum planning, observation, assessment, and responsive programming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement HighScope® and Hanen Learning Language and Loving It™ programs
- Plan programs reflecting children’s interests and diverse needs
- Observe and assess children’s progress and behaviour
- Support children experiencing difficulties and help manage feelings
- Participate in special-needs assessment meetings and recommendations

Requirements:

- Early Childhood Education degree or diploma
- Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Minimum two years of childcare experience preferred
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR, Level C
- Availability for shifts between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
