As a Protocols Developer, you will design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain interfaces within Survalent’s ADMS ecosystem. The work centers on reliable data exchange between field devices, control centers, advanced applications, and cloud-based systems. You will turn technical requirements into maintainable software while addressing reliability, performance, scalability, and interoperability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain communication protocols for utility applications
- Build efficient real-time data exchange solutions
- Translate requirements into maintainable software designs
- Resolve protocol implementation and interoperability challenges
- Own functionality through testing, deployment, and maintenance
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of professional software development experience
- Production software experience using C# and/or C++
- Experience with communication protocols or system integration
- Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, TLS, sockets, and client/server architectures
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skilled experience
