Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Specialist to join its Canadian manufacturing operation. This is an opportunity for a Customs and Trade compliance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while ensuring regulatory compliance across global import and export activities. The Customs Specialist will play an important role in supporting international trade operations while partnering closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement teams.

The Customs Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Canadian, U.
S., and international customs regulations while managing the day-to-day administration of import and export documentation. The Customs Specialist will perform tariff classifications, maintain certificates of origin and trade documentation, coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders, monitor changing regulatory requirements,



and support customs audits and continuous process improvements.

Our ideal candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customs authorities, brokers, and logistics providers. This is an prospect for an individual who enjoys improving processes, maintaining compliance, and contributing to the efficiency of a global supply chain operation.

Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $60 000
- $70 000. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
