Provide palliative nursing care at Parkwood Institute Main in London, Ontario, using medication administration and individualized symptom management.

This part-time Registered Practical Nurse position supports an 18-bed Palliative Care Unit within the Complex Care Program. The interdisciplinary team provides pain and symptom management, end-of-life care, and holistic support for patients with life-limiting illness. Care addresses physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care for palliative care patients
- Administer medications and support pain management
- Apply and document the nursing process
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in role-related teaching and research activities





Requirements:

- Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Pharmacology and medication administration proficiency and experience
- Valid CPR certificate and nursing competency test completion
- Fundamentals Palliative Care course completion or timely completion ability
- Robust communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
