Deliver comfortable patient care as a Registered Dental Assistant at New Minas Dental Centre, supporting procedures, X-rays, and infection control. This full-time schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
New Minas Dental Centre has served its community for over 25 years. Working with Dr. Peter Bagnell and Dr. Zahra Lahiji, you will support comprehensive dental services, preventive dentistry, and smile makeovers. The position includes treatment preparation, patient education, chart updates, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Assist dentists and hygienists while maintaining patient comfort
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
- Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection-control standards
- Update charts and educate patients about oral hygiene
Requirements:
- Registration or certification with the provincial regulatory body
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Commitment to privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Ethical professional behaviour with strong patient relationships
