Stantec seeks a Construction Inspector for medium to large linear conveyance projects in a consulting construction observation role. You will represent the Construction Manager in the field, applying construction documents, project delivery knowledge, and leadership. The work supports public municipal construction projects and programs, requiring independent judgment and critical decision-making. You will coordinate with contractors, clients, and project leadership while monitoring quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and document contractor construction activities daily
- Prepare comprehensive reports with quantities, resources, photographs, and video




- Communicate conformance issues with contractors and project parties
- Review testing, submittals, RFIs, and contract documents
- Track quality issues, payment estimates, and punch lists

Requirements:

- Technical construction degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years supporting municipal linear water and wastewater projects
- Ability to interpret contract documents and designated work package plans
- Ability to discuss project issues with clients and contractors
- Trenchless, P.Eng., CET, NASSCO, or CAD skills considered assets
