Maintain and repair medical equipment for the Canadian Red Cross in Sydney, Nova Scotia, with field service and client support responsibilities.

As Medical Supply Technician II, you will inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, clean, and disinfect equipment for the Health Equipment Loan Program. You will deliver and set up equipment in clients’ homes, provide basic instruction, and support caregivers and internal teams. The position is temporary full-time until March 2027 and works in person from the Sydney Service Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and repair medical equipment using established procedures
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment components
- Clean and disinfect equipment following approved protocols
- Deliver, install, retrieve,



and explain equipment at client sites
- Record inspections, repairs, service calls, and inventory information

Requirements:

- Minimum three years’ experience with relevant education or equivalent
- Medical equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Field service, in-home setup, and troubleshooting experience
- Microsoft Office and SharePoint proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
