Teach Grades 3–4 in person at Hamilton Downtown Islamic School, using strong Language, Math, and Science skills daily. Support learning within smaller classes and an Islamic atmosphere.

This Homeroom Teacher teaches English, Math, Science, Social Studies, History, Physical Education, and Visual & Performing Arts. Lessons should build theoretical and practical skills through interactive methods, hands-on learning, and technology. The role supports student development while following Ontario Ministry of Education and Public Health safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver interactive, hands-on lessons in person
- Teach core subjects across the Grades 3–4 program
- Connect curriculum with school guidelines alongside teachers and the Principal




- Develop learning plans and document student progress
- Partner with families, students, and colleagues toward student goals

Requirements:

- Solid Language, Math, and Science teaching skills
- Familiarity with Ontario curriculum or willingness to learn
- Local residence and ability to commute daily
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
- Elementary teaching experience preferred
