About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Kitchen Helper / Line Cook to join our team in Surrey. If you have experience managing fry stations, working with pasta, and preparing Mediterranean/Greek dishes, we want to hear from you You will work closely with our kitchen team to execute fast, high-quality dish prep, maintain station cleanliness, and ensure consistent order execution during busy lunch and dinner service.

Key Responsibilities
- Fry Station Operation: Efficiently operate deep fryers (calamari, falafel, fries, appetizers) maintaining temperature, oil cleanliness, and food quality.
- Pasta & Line Prep: Boil, portion, and finish pasta dishes to standard order specs with speed and precision.
- Mediterranean Prep: Assist with chopping, sauce/dip prep (tzatziki, hummus, dressings), and protein portioning/marinating.
- Kitchen Helper Duties: Assist line cooks, wash cookware/utensils when necessary, restock stations, and keep prep areas organized.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere strictly to provincial food safety guidelines,



maintaining clean workstations and proper food storage temperatures. Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:
Minimum [1–2 years] of experience as a Kitchen Helper, Prep Cook, or Line Cook in a commercial restaurant.
- Cuisine Knowledge: Direct experience working with Greek/Mediterranean cuisine and/or pasta prep is highly preferred.

Skills:
Solid knife skills, comfort operating high-volume commercial kitchen equipment (fryers, burners), and ability to handle rush hours efficiently.
- Certification: Valid FoodSafe Level 1 (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
- Availability: Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
