Overview We are seeking a skilled Excavator/Shear Operator with Scrap Metal knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have previous scrap metal experience. You MUST know your ferrous and non-ferrous materials. You will be responsible for operating an excavator/shear and other heavy machinery to assist in various scrap metal processes. This role requires a strong understanding of different ferrous metals as well as nonferrous metals. You must ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Operate excavators with shears, grapples magnets etc. and related heavy equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment,



adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment use and safety protocols. Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a scrap metal facility.
- Minimum of 2 years' operating a shear.
- Proven experience as an Excavator/Shear Operator or similar role in metal recycling.
