Chronicle Pub & Grill in Oshawa is looking for a reliable part time cook to join our kitchen team. We're a neighbourhood pub that serves outstanding food alongside beer from our own Chronicle Brewing. Weekends are our busiest time, and we also host private events, so we need someone who stays calm and keeps quality high when the tickets start piling up. Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus other days when needed.
What you'll do
- Prepare and cook menu items to our recipes and plating standards
- Handle prep, station setup and closing duties
- Keep your station clean and follow food safety practices
- Work with the front of house team to get orders out on time
- Help with private event food when scheduled What we're looking for:
- Line or kitchen experience is preferred, but we'll train the right person
- Available Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Open to picking up extra shifts when needed
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
- Team player who shows up on time
