Barrie Ontario Position Type: Full-Time We are seeking an exceptional Senior Graphic Designer specializing in Luxury Print & Rigid Packaging to join our elite team. This is not a role for generalists or mass-market designers. At our firm, an innate, visceral understanding of luxury, minimalism, and true elegance is paramount.We are unique because we are not just a design agency—we house full, state-of-the-art production capabilities under our own roof. Equipped with a digital MGI Accurioshine Embellishment system along with in-house CNC die-cutting and cliché manufacturing, plus fully automatic and semi automatic luxury box wrapping equipment. We bypass the limitations of traditional outsourcing. You will not just design concepts on a screen; you will collaborate hand-in-hand with our internal fabrication team to engineer, plate, foil, and sculpt physical masterpieces. Your digital blueprints will transform directly into structurally complex, tactile rigid boxes and high-end print assets right on our production floor. Core Responsibilities
- Uphold Elite Aesthetics: Conceptualize and execute visual assets that embody absolute sophistication, restrained elegance, and high-end brand storytelling across secondary packaging and custom inserts.
- Design for Advanced Embellishment: Engineer artwork specifically optimized for our in-house MGI Embellishment machine, pushing the creative limits of precision spot UV, raised 3D textures, and variable digital foil.
- In-House Structural & Tooling Design: Design and refine complex structural dielines for premium rigid boxes (magnetic closures, multi-tier gift sets, drawer boxes) with a deep understanding of how they translate to our in-house CNC die-cutting and cliché manufacturing workflows.
- Direct Production Collaboration:



Step away from the screen and walk the production floor to work directly with our tooling specialists, equipment operators, and finishing teams to bring your creations to life.
- Material & Finish Mastery: Select and experiment with premium substrates, fine art papers, luxury textured boards, and high-end tactile embellishments.
- Flawless Technical Execution: Build precise, production-ready vector files engineered specifically for our machinery, perfectly accounting for paper wrapping, turnover edges, and strict alignment rules. Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:
4+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a highly focused portfolio showcasing successfully executed luxury packaging and rigid boxes.
- Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and a deep, practical understanding of structural vector dielines.
- Production-Minded: A strong grasp of physical manufacturing processes, including CNC tooling requirements, magnesium/brass cliché constraints, and digital finishing workflows.
- Collaborative Spirit: Excitement about working closely with an in-house fabrication and print production team to push the boundaries of what is structurally and tactically possible. Preferred Extras
- Background designing for premium niches such as fine jewelry, haute couture, luxury cosmetics, or high-end spirits.
- Direct experience setting up files for MGI JetVarnish or similar digital embellishment presses (separate varnish/foil mask layers).
- 3D rendering capabilities (Blender, Adobe Dimension) to quickly visualize concepts before sending them to our internal prototyping lab. Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 – 42.0 per week
