Stewart's Equipment Stayner Inc. is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing team serving Barrie and the surrounding area. As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the trusted expert our customers rely on to keep their agricultural and construction equipment operating at peak performance. Working primarily on the road, you'll travel to customer locations to diagnose, service, and repair equipment while providing exceptional customer support. What your day will look like:
- Travel throughout Barrie and surrounding communities to service customer equipment on-site.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment.
- Document service findings and complete work orders accurately.
- Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations.
- Use your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to minimize equipment downtime for our customers.
- Work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. This is you:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.




- Ability to diagnose problems and identify effective repair solutions.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Detail-oriented with accurate recordkeeping and documentation skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience working on agricultural, construction, heavy equipment, or diesel engines is considered an asset.
