ABOUT THE ROLE
Beacon Heights Retirement Residence is seeking part time and casual Receptionists to join our team. We are hiring for three positions. Schedule: Days, evenings and weekends. Daytime and evening availability is required. Work

Location:
Beacon Heights Retirement Residence, Ottawa, Ontario Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Answer a multi-line telephone system and accurately relay resident and employee messages.
- Complete data entry, filing and other clerical duties.
- Prepare documents using Microsoft Word and maintain organized records.
- Assist with office supplies and daily front desk operations.
- Provide courteous service while respecting each resident’s dignity and individuality. Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Windows.
- Demonstrated experience serving the public in a similar setting.
- Good communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.




- Reception, administrative or retirement residence experience is an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
