Job Description
Freeway Paving Ltd. is actively seeking an experienced Asphalt Paver Operator to join our team immediately We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and motivated professional who takes pride in producing high-quality asphalt work and can confidently operate paving equipment in a fast-paced construction environment. We are offering competitive compensation of $35–$50 per hour, depending on experience, capabilities, and proficiency. This is a full-time opportunity for the remainder of our active paving season, which is expected to continue through approximately mid-December, subject to weather and project schedules. The position is available for an immediate start. Qualified candidates will be prioritized for prompt interviews and hiring.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate an asphalt paving machine on commercial and residential projects.
- Maintain consistent asphalt thickness, grade, slope, and smoothness to meet project specifications.
- Coordinate with the paving crew, screed operators, roller operators, and truck drivers to maintain efficient operations.
- Monitor material flow, paving speed, and quality throughout the paving process.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.




- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work workplace. Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience operating asphalt pavers is required.
- Strong understanding of asphalt paving techniques, grades, slopes, and compaction requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently while coordinating with a paving crew.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional extended shifts when required.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to job sites preferred.
